Comfortable but Leaky and Foggy These are very nice goggles much better than the speedo googles i have tried but be prepared to put a lot of work into adjusting them for your face.
I know I must be doing something wrong yet I have put a lot of effort into these and they still leak and fog up in the pool (not climate-controlled). :2010-09-16 00:28:38
Works for me I have had these goggles for 12 years. A repair kit (which costs four backs) includes new foam strap and nose piece. Barracuda sells a nice case for $11.00 that protects the goggles nicely.
They leak a little but after watching Michael Phelps throw his pair at the side of the pool I am starting to think that maybe they all leak a little. They fog a little too but for me they make up for this in comfort. They are very comfortable.
The goggles come with an adjustable nose bridge. I think this helps their fit -- at least on my face. I do not spend time in the pool fooling with the straps or continually tightening them. :2010-09-16 00:28:38
most comfortable goggle ever these are by far the best goggles ever. they were created by molding the plastic and foam to the eye sockets. they sit on the bones with very soft sealing foam. they dont press into your eyeballs.
anyone who is getting a great seal or find them leaky is probably not sizing them correctly. I agree that the sizing and fitting can be a little tricky. but once they are dialed in there will never be a more comfortable goggle. :2010-09-16 00:28:38
Very comfortable but tricky to adjust I used to use these the Barracuda Standard which are positive pressure goggles. Positive pressure means they seal out water without needing a vacuum and sucking up your skin. The positive pressure goggles are more comfortable and dont leave ugly rings but they are tricky to adjust: you have to get the nose bridge set and the strap tightness just right or they leak. These come with different length nose bridges which can be slid in or out to adjust. You can also trim the nose bridges with scissors. However it takes a lot of fiddling and tweaking to create a good fit.
Ive recently switched to the Barracuda Ultimate which are are a middle product between the positive pressure Standard and a conventional suction goggle. Those have no adjustment except for the strap tightness and they are easy to take on and off. They dont leak and they are more comfortable then a suction goggle but not as comfortable as the Standard.

Tricky to fit easy to break quick to fog...but comfy The only thing these goggles managed to do was avoid pulling my eyes out of the sockets. It took about 30 minutes to put them together (a bad sign that they come with their own tool) but the fit was never great and tended to leak. They come with an anti-fog solution that works for about 15 minutes. I used these about 20 times before the nose piece pulled loose from those tiny screws--and of course Id misplaced the little tool by that point. Expensive too.
